The zmm.li link shortener
zmm.li turns a long address into a five-character short link such as zmm.li/x7k2p. It is easy to send in a messenger, add to your Instagram or TikTok bio, print on a business card, a package or a QR code, or even read out over the phone.
The service is free and needs no sign-up: paste a link and instantly get a short one together with its click statistics.
How to shorten a link
- Copy the long link to a page, product, document or post.
- Paste it into the field at the top of this page and click “Shorten”.
- Copy the short link and share it anywhere. Click stats are available right away in the “Tracking” tab.
Click analytics for every link
zmm.li collects detailed analytics for every short link — no tracking code on your site and no setup:
- countries, regions and cities of your visitors, plus their internet providers;
- device type, phone maker and model, operating system and browser;
- which apps the link was opened in: Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, Facebook and more;
- traffic sources and UTM tags: social, messengers, search, email, ads;
- new vs returning visitors, clicks by day and hour, activity by weekday;
- where the link was shared: previews in Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook and other services are counted separately and don’t skew your numbers;
- export of every click to CSV for Excel and Google Sheets.
UTM tags made easy
Add tags right to the short link: zmm.li/x7k2p?utm_source=instagram&utm_campaign=autumn. They show up in your zmm.li report and are passed on to the destination site automatically — straight into Google Analytics.
One short link, different tags for each channel: see which post, newsletter or ad brings the most people.
Who it’s for
- marketers and social media managers comparing channels and campaigns by real clicks;
- creators who need a bio or story link that fits anywhere and is easy to remember;
- online stores and marketplace sellers linking to products in newsletters, chats and on packaging;
- anyone who needs to send a long link in a form that is easy to open.
FAQ
Is zmm.li free?
Yes. Shortening links and viewing click stats are free, and no sign-up is required.
How long does a short link last?
Links don’t expire. A short link keeps working unless it is blocked for breaking the rules — for example, for phishing or malware.
How do I see the stats for a link?
Open the “Tracking” tab and paste the short link. Or simply add “+” to the end of it: zmm.li/x7k2p+.
Can I change where a link points?
No. A short link always leads to the address it was created for. If you need a different destination, create a new link.
Why are short links five characters long?
Five Latin letters and digits give 60,466,176 combinations — enough for tens of millions of links while keeping the address short. Case doesn’t matter: zmm.li/X7K2P and zmm.li/x7k2p go to the same place.
Which links can I shorten?
Any address starting with http:// or https://, up to 2,048 characters long. If you leave out the protocol, zmm.li adds https:// for you.
Who can see the stats?
Stats are open to anyone who has the short link. Visitor IP addresses are stored only in anonymized form, and no names or contact details are collected.
Are there any limits?
You can create up to 20 new links per hour from one IP address. Links to phishing and malware sites are blocked.
